§ 01
What Imprint does with your files
When you use Imprint, the app reads the PDF files you choose, applies Bates stamps locally on your Mac, and writes the output files to the folder you selected.
Your documents stay on your device unless you choose to move, share, print, or send them yourself outside the app.
§ 02
What we do not collect
Starkly does not collect or receive the documents you process in Imprint. We also do not collect analytics, tracking data, advertising identifiers, or account data.
- Your PDF files.
- Document contents.
- Bates numbers or production logs.
- Usage analytics or telemetry about how you use the app.
- Advertising identifiers or marketing-tracking data.
§ 03
What stays on your Mac
To make the app work properly, Imprint stores some information locally on your device. This includes your stamping settings, purchase state, chosen output-folder permission, and optional diagnostics entries used to help prefill a support email if you choose to send one.
This information is stored locally on your Mac. It is not automatically sent to Starkly.
§ 04
Purchases and Apple services
Imprint uses Apple’s StoreKit framework for purchases, restores, and price display. If you choose to buy or restore Imprint Full, those requests are handled by Apple and may involve communication with Apple’s services.
Starkly does not receive your full payment card details through Imprint. Apple handles payment processing under Apple’s own privacy terms.
§ 05
Support and feedback
If you choose to contact support from inside Imprint, the app opens a draft in your email app addressed to [email protected].
You control whether to send that email and whether to include optional diagnostics. If you send a support email, Starkly will receive the information you include in that message, such as your email address, your message, and any diagnostics you choose to include.
Those diagnostics are designed to avoid document contents. They may include app version, macOS version, purchase state, selected settings, queue counts, and recent app event messages relevant to debugging.
§ 06
Children’s privacy
Imprint is a professional productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
